MEMBER BENEFITS:
|
There are many benefits to becoming a member regardless of your stage in life, as an individual or an organization. Student members come from Chapters at a number of universities, colleges, and community colleges across the state. KRHA attempts to engage these students during their education in hopes they not only they continue their membership as a professional, but that they will choose to practice in a rural area upon graduation.
We are excited that you have considered becoming a member of the Kentucky Rural Health Association! We constantly strive to bring on individuals and organizations that will help grow and diversify the current membership.
As with any membership, you want to make sure that the time, energy, and financial resources you put forth are worth the effort. As an organization comprised of members focusing on rural health in Kentucky we understand the scarcity of resources in rural areas, which is why a unified membership is key to the success of the organization.
The organization utilizes a committee structure that meets using a KRHA phone conference line. These meetings usually take only an hour of your time each month, possibly more depending upon your personal preference to assume more responsibility and make a real impact on the status of rural health in Kentucky.
